The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a component of the Department of Homeland Security, has stated that one of its goals is to build “resiliency to foreign influence operations and disinformation … in close partnership with the interagency, private sector, academia, and international stakeholders.”

  • CISA was aware that there were very severe constitutional issues in doing this
  • Threatened companies with government response if they were not in compliance
  • Biden admin argues that it was legal, CISA was more threatening

It is very clear that the US government was directly involved in doing this—the US Supreme Court says that private individuals “may not induce, encourage or promote private persons to accomplish what it is constitutionally forbidden to accomplish.” Whether it’s Alex Stamos or Chris Krebs, collusion should be evident.

Despite the claims, the CISA did have access to the EIP’s ticketing system Alex Stamos in November of 2020 wrote an email to a Reddit employee, saying “It would be great if we could get somebody from Reddit on JIRA, just like Facebook, Google, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, CISA, EI-ISAC…”
